Well it’s official! We have launched the search for 2011 The Atlanta Bachelor & The Atlanta Bachelorette! February 14 aka Valentines Day was AWESOME for those that came out to East Andrews! Not only did you get to meet Gwen Gioia & Graham Bunn from the ABC series The Bachelor, Bachelor Pad & The Bachelorette – if you applied to be a contestant you were interviewed by THEM! How cool was that – the best insight from someone who has been through it before! Don’t fret if you missed the 1st Search and missed The Bachelor & The Bachelorette – we a have a couple other searches within the next 2 weeks and if you make the cut … You will be seeing Gwen & Graham again and probably a few others! WSBTV will be posting coverage from the launch – stay tuned and we will let you know when

This is going to be exciting! We will have guests from the shows The Bachelor, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelorette – come meet fan favorites Gwen Gioia & Graham Bunn! ALSO smile pretty WSBTV will be covering part of it! So do you “Think you are a Great Catch?” See you tonight at East Andrews, Atlanta Ga! Now if you do not want to participate in the contest no worries you can come to the mixer – if you didn’t get in on the early bird it will be $40 at the door. ALSO for those participating – remember print out the application (or we will have some on hand that you can fill in when you get there) though may take away some time mingling time & depending on the time we may not get to interview everyone. This goes from 7pm – 10:30pm tonight – This year Valentines Day is for Atlanta Singles!

We will officially be launching the search to bring out some of the best “GREAT CATCHES”! If you are SINGLE, 23years old and older, and think you are a GREAT CATCH you do not want to miss this! Applications will be available online Feb 1st or you can pick them up at the event. We will be LIVE at East Andrews Pavilion and to add EVEN MORE EXCITEMENT for the launch of our 1st Search – we have confirmed 2 surprise guests: Beautiful Bachelorette Gwen Gioia from “The Bachelor” & “”Bachelor Pad” and the handsome Bachelor Graham Bunn from “The Bachelorette”! Come meet and mingle with 2 fan favorites while checking out the local singles!
We are expecting a huge turnout on our 1st Search – so get your applications filled out & releases signed and see you Feb 14th at 7pm.
What else do you need: a 250 word bio on what makes you a Great Catch and why you should be Atlanta’s Bachelor or Atlanta’s Bachelorette. 1 photo ID and 2 pictures (1 close up & 1 full body) Don’t worry we will have Karen Filos one of Atlanta’s top stylist & make up artist on hand to touch your make-up & hair up. We will also have Haute Couture Photography on hand to take pictures for those who don’t have pictures or need their pictures updated. *NOTE Feb 14th will be the only time we have this made available – This will be offered to you at a very low cost. REMEMBER February 14th will be only event that this will be available for you. After that you can make an appointment with them. Great opportunity to take advantage of their creativity. If you do not want to be photographed or have your picture in the media with Heartbeat Matchmaker Search for Atlanta Bachelor and/or Atlanta Bachelorette, then please do not come to the venues.
- 1st place Winner will receive $3000 – $5000 in prizes ($1000 of that will be cash)
- 2nd place Winner will receive $2000 in prizes ($250 of that will be cash)
- 3rd place Winner will receive $1000 in prizes ($150 of that will be cash)
We will have 2 more searches following the 14th -February 20th at 3 Sheets in Sandy Springs – 3pm- 8pm & February 27 at St. Regis, Atlanta 3pm-7pm
This is not a casting call, nor an audition – THIS is INTERVIEWED based with judges. Cost is $75 for the application fee. We will do background checks to confirm that no one is married nor a criminal. As you move up in the elimination process we will do a more in depth interviews – each step is a different interview process. You will be required to attend several functions, and 2 possibly 3 dates (these may either be one on one dates or group dates). Not only will this be a ton of fun but will bring out those people who otherwise would not be out and about in the social scene of Atlanta!
